Are you a CODA with a passion for working with kids and supporting the Deaf community? We are seeking a CODA coordinator for our annual KODA and Deaf Summer Camp! Youth typically refers to the age group between 5 and 17 years old.
We are pleased to introduce Marie Rose, Interim CODA Leader, Sean Cosslett, Co-Leader, and Philip Hoang Pham, Co-Leader for the 2nd KODA & Deaf Youth Camp this summer!
The CODA coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the camp's mission to provide a fun and enriching experience for KODAs and Deaf children under 17. The coordinator will help plan and implement camp activities, work with camp counselors and staff, and serve as a role model and mentor for the campers.
This is a unique opportunity to use your skills and experiences as a CODA to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and contribute to the Deaf community.
Qualifications
Must be Asian or Asian of Mixed Ancestry
Experience working with children and/or in a camp setting
Child of Deaf Adults (CODA) Required
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
